We had such an incredible time in Taos we decided we have to offer this retreat again! It was THAT good. I’m thrilled to be co-leading this retreat with my dear friend Jaime Robbins Soucy, yoga teacher, chef extraordinaire and all around excellent human. Take a step away from life’s habits, routines and responsibilities and journey with us to the soul of the southwest, Taos, New Mexico. Here in this sacred land we will rest, restore and enliven soul and body through yoga, meditation, breathwork and journaling. Through intentional connection, to nature, to each other and to ourselves, we’ll rekindle the wild, from which flows our intuition and deep knowing.

Drawn by clean air and mythical light, visitors come to New Mexico’s Soul of the Southwest to experience rich spiritual traditions, fine art and the raw, natural beauty of the landscape.
Though Taos may be mostly known as home to a world-class ski resort, this distinctive area offers so much more. Taos is long one of America’s foremost, bona fide Art Colonies, home to Taos Pueblo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has one of the most photographed and iconic churches, St. Francisco de Asis. These cultural sites along with the majestic landscape encompassing the Rocky Mountains and the Rio Grande Gorge make Taos a destination that will leave you in awe of the magic to be found in our own country.
-
We’ll be staying at the historic San Geronimo lodge. A beautiful and rare example of traditional Taos architecture. The Lodge has traditional adobe walls, high viga ceilings and rambling verandas. With three acres of natural landscape, the property boasts apricot, apple, peach, plum, and pear trees, 8 person sauna, pool and splendid views of Taos Mountains. The en-suite rooms are serene and comfortable, with luxury linens and locally-made toiletries.
-
Yoga will take place in a beautiful space on site at the lodge. The studio is fully stocked with mats and props. Jaime and I will both be teaching yoga throughout our extended weekend together. Morning practice will be slow-flow, strong and deep, intuitive and intelligent. Evening classes will be focused on soothing the nervous system with restorative yoga and guided deep relaxation. Each day we will offer journaling prompts with time for discussion.
-
